A Note from our Pastor-COVID

Hello My Brothers and Sisters,

Last Friday (October 9, 2020) Routt County was allowed a variance to move from Safer At Home Level 2: Concern to Safer At Home Level 1: Cautious.

There are several loosened restrictions which you can read about here: https://www.covid19routtcounty.com/overview

Specifically, Places of Worship can increase from 50% capacity or 50 people to 50% capacity or 175 indoors.

What this means for us is that, during this phase, we will no longer be requiring pre-registration unless mass attendance begins to regularly reach the 150+ levels, at which point we will re-institute a pre-registration process.

Individuals will now be required to sign-in with name, phone number and email address upon entering the church.  These sign-in sheets will be available at all entrances of the church and will be collected on a regular basis for contact-tracing purposes (still required).

When you sign in you are giving your consent to a number of conditions which are now standard in our "Covid World":
  • If you experience any of  the following symptoms, you agree to NOT attend Mass.  Fever or chills, Cough, Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, Fatigue, Muscle or body aches, Headache, New loss of taste or smell, Sore throat, Congestion or runny nose, Nausea or vomiting, Diarrhea.
  • You agree to maintain at least a 6' distance from other parties attending Mass. This includes upon entry, while seated, during Holy Communion, and while exiting the church.
  • You agree to wear a mask at all times when inside the church including processing to Holy Communion.
I am thrilled to be able to welcome more of you back to church at one time!  Thank you for your patience with the staff, our volunteer ministers and each other as we navigate this next change.

I look forward to seeing more of you soon!

God Bless,

Fr. Ernest
